Mission work in Peru is a fun, family experience. You learn how loving and welcoming the Peruvian people are towards mission families. Doing mission work helps you to learn more about Jesus Christ.

My grandparents started a mission business called Peruvian Partners. It helps the poor people in a small town in Lima called “Flores de Villa.” This town is built on a trash dump site. Every year, our family tries to go to Peru for English Camp. The experience is like Vacation Bible School, where you do crafts, sing songs, and play games with children in Peru. We play "futbol" with the kids during recess and games like volleyball and Nine Square are also popular. We also teach kids how to speak English.
Peruvian people are very loving and welcoming. As soon as you go to Peru you feel their love. Peruvians like to hug and kiss you. They also like to invite you into their homes to eat. Whenever we go to Peru the people give us a lot of gifts like bracelets, sublime chocolate, and other sweet treats.

When you do mission work, you learn more about Jesus Christ and you share God with children who might not know Him. You sing Christan songs and do things like crafts of Noah’s Ark. We also read from the Bible and every group has a different theme from the Bible. We end our day with testimonies.
Doing mission work is a fun way to spend time with your family. If you get a chance to go to Peru you will have a fun experience. You will experience how loving and caring people are in Peru. And if you believe in Christ, it is a great way for you and your kids to grow more in Christ.
